Senior Executive – Public Relations

Job Profile

  • Ability to understand the brands business and communication objectives to effectively execute the PR plan.
  • Responsible for planning and execution of PR activity effectively.
  • Be able to work closely with the brand team to ensure that campaign activity is aligned and integrated.
  • Initiate innovative PR opportunities particularly the application of emerging digital channels.
  • Should ensure that all communication initiatives are delivered on time.
  • Analyzing competitor activities and its impact on business and corporate planning.
  • Be accountable for monitoring the PR agency to ensure all expected deliverables are fulfilled.
  • Be able to manage the media agencies in order to build better relationships.
  • Develop evaluation techniques for campaigns.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidate should preferably hold a degree in communication and media studies or business management.
  • Should have a minimum 2 years’ work experience in similar field.
  • Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be well versed in English and Sinhala in both written and verbal communication.
  • Must have the ability to be creative and imaginative.
