IM Data Plan

 

Mobitel IM Plans are for the customers who are constantly using Instant Messaging Applications. These plans will give the customer the convenience to use WhatsApp, Viber and IMO for an attractive and a competitive price in the market. Both Prepaid and Postpaid customers are eligible to activate IM Plans.

What are the eligible IM apps?

  • IMO
  • Viber

What are the available IM plans?

There are two plans with the following features.

*Without tax

* Valid for 1 bill run on postpaid (Auto renewed)

How to activate?

USSD Activations

Dial #170# and select “Content Based Plans” from the menu, and select IM Plans in the next window.

SMS Activations and Deactivations

Send following SMS formats to 160 to activate and deactivate through SMS

Special Notes:

  • The bundle will be consumed only for WhatsApp, Viber and IMO calls, messaging and media (on Smart devices and PC)
  • Customers can activate multiple IM plans from both values.
  • When the customer activates IM49 plan in multiple times, a 1400MB of maximum data balance can be maintained. There will be no more IM49 plan activations allowed. To activate another IM49 plan, the bundle balance of IM49 should be 700MB or less.
  • When the customer activates IM99 plan in multiple times, a 3200MB of maximum data balance can be maintained. There will be no more IM99 plan activations allowed. To activate another IM49 plan, the bundle balance of IM49 should be 1600MB or less.
  • A customer can maintain two IM49 plans and two IM99 plans at once.
  • In a multiple activation scenario in IM plans from different values, the consumption priority goes to IM49 plan.

How the customer can view the bundle balance?

The customer should SMS “DB” to 160. The IM balance bundle will be notified by a SMS.
