Competition & how to participate

All postpaid and prepaid individual subscribers (see terms and conditions for exclusions) who stay active with the mTunes service and purchased at least one song during the promotion period will be entitled to a raffle draw which will held once the promotion period is over.

Chances of winning will be equal to the number of songs selected by the user during the promotion period.

Terms and Conditions

  • In order to be eligible, a user must be an active mtune subscriber who has purchased at least one song during the promotion period.
  • Number of winning chances will be equal to the number of unique songs selected during the promotion period. Incase of a daily billing subscriber, a unique song should remain selected for minimum of 10days to be eligible for a winning chance.
  • Winners will be picked by a raffle draw in presence of Mobitel Internal Audit and an agent from the inland revenue department, Western Province on the draw date. Numbers of the eligible winners will be extracted from a system generated report.
  • Winners will be contacted via phone and a confirmation letter will be sent to their address.
  • In case of an unreachable winner; there will be three attempts made via phone within 6 hours and if not reachable the next record of the report will be picked as the winner. The previous record will be discarded.
  • The gifts shall be distributed after the promotion period.
  • The prize cannot be negotiated.
  • Mobitel disclaims all liabilities in respect of the prizes after handing over to the winner and shall not be liable for any warranties applicable to such prizes.
  • Mobitel staff, Suppliers and Business partners of Mobitel, Advertising Agency and their immediate family members will not be eligible to participate in this competition.
  • Only the actual user of the connection shall be eligible for the prize.
  • The participants agree to indemnify Mobitel for any technical errors which may occur during the competition period.
  • Mobitel holds the right to the winner selection and the decision shall be the final.
