As the National Mobile Services Provider, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel has continuously been committed to honoring and paying tribute to women of Sri Lanka, whose contributions towards their families and society have not gone unobserved. With this in mind, Mobitel created the ‘Liyasara’ package - an initiative that was a fitting tribute to these remarkable women – one that would help empower their lives and add value to their daily engagements - be it relating to motherhood, health, professional commitments or domestic situations.
In an unprecedented move to strengthen this initiative, Mobitel has now announced that Sumudu Prasadini, Miss. Sri Lanka for the year 2012 has been appointed as the official Brand Ambassador for Liyasara.
A television show host, actress, fashion model and beautician by profession, Sumudu will represent our Nation at the Miss. World competition to be held in Mongolia, China in July this year.
Expressing her views on the appointment, Sumudu commented that whilst being honored to be associated with the country’s National Mobile Service Provider, as the official Brand Ambassador, she will be promoting the Liyasara brand to her highest capability in the future.
As an additional feature ‘Liyasara’ customers can access the ‘Liyasara’ Portal by simply dialing 222 which will provide Mobitel customers with information on nutrition and dieting, recipes, fashion and beauty tips, household remedies, child psychology, cerebral palsy, maternal and new born health, cancer awareness and celebrity news among many others. Through the exclusive ‘Liyasara’ voice portal Mobitel customers also have the opportunity to enjoy free talk time, SMS, VAS and Data.
