Mobitel Sponsors National Surf Championship Series & Open Surf Championship 2020 – Arugambay as Official Telecommunication Partner
As the National Mobile Service Provider, Mobitel has come forward to sponsor the National Surf Championship series 2020 as the Official Telecommunication Partner. Organized by the Surfing Federation of Sri Lanka (SFSL), the national surfing championship is one of the most anticipated events in the sporting calendar. The event is set to take place in Arugambay from Sept 27th to 29th 2020.
The surfing Championship is a timely initiative by the Ministry of Youth & Sports and Ministry of Tourism. The synergy between the two ministries will not only kick start the Surfing fraternity but will also help revive the tourism sector and rebuild the industry.
Mobitel is proud to come onboard as the as the official telecommunications partner, powering the hopes of thousands of surfers located both locally and globally. The event will also coincide with the World Tourism Day which falls on September 27 and more than 70 surfers are expected to take part in this event.
