1. What is Laptop Fiesta?

Laptop Fiesta is a promotional program designed to benefit Fixed & Mobile Customers of SLTMobitel.

2. How can I be eligible for the Draw?
  • You should be a Resident of Sri Lanka
  • You should possess a valid active Mobitel or SLT connection (Pre Paid, Post Paid, Voice , Broadband or Peo TV connection), which is not disconnected on your request or not terminated as described in the subscriber agreement,
  • You should not have any outstanding under the respective Account/Number or NIC (This condition is only for Mobile connections)
  • You should have not been selected as a main lucky winner in previous programs, Those who meet the minimum eligibility requirement will eligible for the draw
3. How do I qualify for the draw?

Mobile Connections

  • Minimum recharge/reload or bill payment value of Rs.50 should have reload/recharge or paid by the subscriber to enter to the Monthly draw
  • Each Rs.50 reload/recharged or bill paid will be given one chance in the lucky draw if customer has met the minimum qualifying criteria of recharge/reload or bill payment value of Rs.50 as well as the tenure with Mobitel.

    Example: Cumulative reload/recharge/bill payment value of 0712755777 for the day/week/month/quarter is Rs.800 and customer with Mobile for 10 years. 0712755777 is eligible for 160 draw chances ((800/50) *10) for the draw.

  • Postpaid customers need to have settled total due bills of active connections in order to qualify for a particular draw

Fixed Lines

  • Residential customer base will be considered.
  • All the residential customers who will be doing a payment during the competition period will be eligible.
  • Each Rs.50 bill paid will be given one chance in the lucky draw if customer has met the minimum qualifying criteria of bill payment value of Rs.50 as well as the tenure with SLT

    Example: Cumulative bill payment value of 025 xxxxxxx during the competition month is Rs.800 and customer is with SLT for 10 years. 025xxxxxxx is eligible for 160 draw chances ((800/50) *10) for the draw.

    For fixed line customers maximum tenure will be considered as 10 years.

4. What are the prizes on offer?

5. What is the effective period of the program?

The Program will be effective from 12th of April 2021 to 31st of December 2021

6. Can I check instant prize draw and monthly draw chances that I have collected?
Yes. For SLTMobitel Mobile connections, can view winning chances by dialing #151# code
7. How will I be notified if I am a winner of the Laptop Fiesta Draw? Mobile Connections

Winner will be notified by a phone call via SLTMobitel customer care hotline number 0712755777

Fixed Connections

Fixed lines winners will be notified by a phone call by SLT Customer Experience number 0112334488 also with an official letter.

Customer detail verification or winner confirmation will be done only by using the above numbers and customers to be informed that they should refrain from providing their details to any other numbers without any validation, since most of those will be fraudulent calls.

Customers can verify or validate the genuineness of their prizes by calling to relevant customer care hotline.

All the Prizes are granting to the customers Free of charge and there are no any extra amount to be paid/ charged under any circumstances.

8. How do I collect my winning prizes in the draws?

Prize awarding day and procedure will be informed upon verifying the winner

9. What are the conditions of the program?
  1. Customer Clearance Related Conditions

    Customers in the following category will not qualify for the draw

    Mobile Customers

    1. Non- Residents of Sri Lanka
    2. iSubscribers temporarily disconnected or deactivated permanently on their request at the time of confirming winners
    3. Customers with outstanding over Rs.500 in disconnected connections
    4. Any subscriber terminated due to Mobitel suspension/disconnection policy as listed in clause 7 in the subscriber agreement
    5. Numbers registered under SLTMobitel staff, Suppliers and Business partners of Mobitel, Advertising Agency and their immediate family members
    6. Previous winners of the scheme will not qualify (customers that have previously won the any of the prize on the specific scheme)
    7. Winner of a monthly draw will not qualify for the following draws within the year

    Fixed Line Customers

    1. Non- Residents of Sri Lanka
    2. Subscribers temporarily disconnected or deactivated permanently on their request / by SLT finance due to outstanding at the time of confirming winners
    3. Numbers registered under SLT staff, and their immediate family members
    4. Previous winners of the scheme will not qualify (customers that have previously won the any of the prize on the specific scheme)
    5. Winner of a monthly draw will not qualify for the following draws within the year
  2. Other General Conditions

    1. If the selected winning number is used by a user a second party, prize will be awarded to the original registered user only if user disclose original customer information at the time of confirmation of the winner
    2. Incase further verification is required for customer identification, other verification methods such as billing proof, legal documents shall be used
    3. Winners are required to visit to the prize awarding ceremony to collect the winning prize
    4. Winners will be picked by manually which the draw will be conducted in presence of SLTMobitel Internal Control and representative from Western Province Revenue Department
    5. Winners will be contacted via hotline and a confirmation letter will be sent to their address. For SLTMobitel fixed line customers, will be contacted via SLT Customer Experience number and a letter.
    6. For SLTMobitel fixed line customers, The selected SLT number will be verified at the moment of selecting of the validity ( If it is an SLT employee number, will be taking the next number in the order) and then fix the customer as the winner
    7. Winner of a Monthly draw will not qualify for any draws within the program period
    8. The prize cannot be negotiated
    9. The participants agree to indemnify SLTMobitel for any technical errors which may occur during the competition period
    10. SLTMobitel holds the right to the winner selection and the decision shall be the final
  3. Prize Distribution Mechanism

    1. Winning prizes are not transferable before acceptance by the registered lucky winner

      Mobile Customers

      Winning prizes will not hand over to a representative on behalf of the winner without any justifiable valid reason produced by both winner and representative. Representative should obtain a request letter / no objection letter from the original winner and original ID/Passport/Driving License or a certified copy of one of those from an authorized personal (Gramasewaka or Justice in Piece) along with the SIM card should physically submit to the Mobitel at the point of collection of the prize. Signature in all documents should tally with system records available at Mobitel.

      Mobitel winners will be informed to visit SLTMobitel Head Office at No.109, Galle Road, Colombo 03 for registration. Upon verifying the customer, confirmation letter will be handed over to the winner and will be informed to visit and collect the prize at an event organized by Mobitel in due course.

      Fixed Operator

      • Winning prizes will not hand over to a representative on behalf of the winner without any justifiable valid reason produced by both winner and representative.
      • Representative should obtain a request letter / no objection letter from the original winner and original ID/Passport/Driving License or a certified copy of one of those from an authorized personal (Gramasewaka or Justice in Piece)
      • The said documents should physically submit to the Regional Telecom Manager of the respective area at the point of collection of the confirmation letter from the respective Regional Telecom Office.
      • Signature in all documents should tally with system records available at SLT.
      • SLTMobitel fixed line winners will be informed to visit respective SLT regional office for registration.
      • Upon verifying the customer, confirmation a letter will be handed over to the winner and will be informed to visit and collect the prize at an event organized by SLTMobitel in due course.
    2. In order to collect the prize; the winner will have to Visit the SLTMobitel Head Office or the place decided by SLTMobitel in person along with their National ID card, Passport or Driving License, along with the letter of confirmation of the winner
    3. Mobitel Customers must produce SIM card and Mobile phone for verifications at any point when SLT Mobitel requested
    4. If a customer does not collect their eligible prizes within 3 months from the price awarding ceremony date ( according to the letter), winner will automatically disqualify without prior notice
    5. SLTMobtel mobile connection winners of the monthly draws will be informed via an outbound call generated from Mobitel hotline 0712755777.
