SLT-MOBITEL Mobile achieved a Speed ScoreÔ of 23.32, with average download speeds of 20.05 Mbps
and average upload speeds of 8.47Mbps in Q1-Q2 2021. Further, maintaining record speeds throughout the year in 2021, SLT-MOBITEL Mobile also retained its crown as the Fast-Mobile Network in 2H of 2021.
The Speedtest Awards™ , licensed to global Internet Service Providers and mobile carriers, are determined using an average Speed Score which incorporates a measure of each provider’s download and upload speed across the country to rank network speed performance. With previous recognitions to the title as the fastest mobile network in 2019 as well as in 2020, SLT-MOBITEL Mobile continues to emerge as the leader in the Mobile Service segment consistently, offering superior mobile connectivity and unmatched network experience. The Ookla Speedtest Awards is a bi-annual award that is the result of thousands of consumer-initiated tests taken using Speedtest®.
