    What is the specialty of these new prepaid data plans?
    Mobitel prepaid customers can enjoy more data for the same price with an anytime data bundle.
    What is an Anytime bundle?
    There will be no day bundles for prepaid data plans hereafter and the day bundles have been modified as ANYTIME bundles. In the night time (00.00-08.59) the night time bundle will be consumed as usual and in the absence of a night time data balance, the anytime bundle will be consumed instead of charging for the usage. (This applies for Daily Plan bundles as well)
    How can I activate prepaid data plans?
    You can activate prepaid data plans by dialing #170# or visiting www.datamart.lk or by downloading the DataMart app
    What if I buy an old data card from a local store? Will I be able to enjoy the new prepaid plans?
    Yes. This bundle revision is applied for old data cards in the market as well.
    Is there any change in validity periods of the plans?
    No
    How can I check my data plan balance?
    You can check data balance just by checking the usage view in DataMart app, and by dialing #170# or sending DB to 7678 as a text message

    2. How to activate?

    You can activate these unlimited plans via below methods

    • #170# > Internet Plans > Unlimited Plans
    • Self-care App
    • DataMart App
    • By recharging above rental values.
    3. How to check expiry date?

    You can send DB to 7678 and check the expiry date of your unlimited plan

    4. Are multiple activations allowed?

    You cannot multiple activate the same bandwidth plan. You can only upgrade to a higher bandwidth package from a lower bandwidth package.

    5. Is it possible to remove restrictions on bandwidth and torrents?

    If you require to experience the maximum speeds available and to use torrents, you have the option to remove the speed cap by temporarily disabling the Unlimited Plan (Unrestricted Mode), Once disabled, usage will occur through standard data. Once disabled, you also have the option to re-enable the unlimited plan (Restricted mode)

    You can toggle between the options via #170# > Internet plans > Unlimited Plans > Change Mode

    6. What will happen if a Content based plan or a duration plan is activated on top of an Unlimited Plan.
    Duration plans and content based plans will receive highest priority over these unlimited plans. Speed caps would not be effective when using duration based plans and content based plans.
    7. Special Conditions
    • Torrent usage is blocked.
    • Telegram usage will be limited to a daily cap of 1.5GB. Afterwards standard charges will occur.
    • Network speeds may vary based on the site congestion.
    • Any misusers detected in the network will subjected to be throttled or discontinued after consulting the TRCSL
