Reregistration

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC 

Registration/Re-Registration of Subscribers Published in compliance with National Security Requirement and as per the directive from Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka(TRCSL)

ALL MOBITEL USERS MUST RE-REGISTER

Registering/Re-registering your Mobitel connection is free. All you have to do:
  • Call over in person to any Mobitel Centre;
  • Produce your National Identity Card (NIC)/Valid Passport/Driving Licence;
  • Be willing to be photographed or bring a Passport photograph
  • Bring your Mobitel SIM/s
  • Minor to be accompanied by guardian.
STEP 01

Every person who is required to Register/Re-register need to be present in person at our Centre. Mobitel users are required to produce SIM Card/s for Re-registration.

STEP 02

You are required to produce your National Identity Card (NIC)/Valid Passport/Driving License at our Centre

STEP 03

A digital photograph of you will be taken at your Centre at no cost. If you do not wish to be photographed at the Centre, you should be present in person and provide your photograph, conforming to the specifications of the Passport(Size:3.5cms X 4.5cms)Photograph. In the event you have provided or wish to provide a Mobitel connection to a child (without a proof of Identity), you are required to accompany your child.

STEP 04

After the Registration/Re-registration, you will be issued with a temporary Mobitel Identity Certificate(MIC). The permanent MIC will only be sent to you by post to your registered address. Once your Registration/Re-registration process is completed, you will be notified via SMS

Upon conclusion of Step 4, and once you have recieved the SMS notification, you can follow the below mentioned steps to validate your information:
