1.What is M+ packages?

M+ is a range of postpaid packages offering voice, SMS, and data with a Data Roll-Over feature to meet your monthly needs.

 

2.Who can subscribe to M+ packages?

Anyone over 18 years old with a valid National Identity Card, Passport, or Driving License can subscribe by completing the required documentation and paying the necessary deposit.

 

3.What is the data usage priority?

App-specific data is used first. If exhausted, Anytime Data will be used.

 

4.What happens if I fully use the social media data quota?

Once the social media quota is used, usage will be deducted from your Anytime Data. If that is also exhausted, it will be charged at Rs. 0.10 + Taxes per MB.

 

5.How do I subscribe to special add-ons available only for M+ package?

Dial #170# or use the Self-Care App.

 

6.Can existing postpaid subscribers upgrade to M+?

Yes. Visit your nearest Mobitel service outlet to get the request done.

If you have been in the network for more than 03 years, you can upgrade without updating the deposit, however if your tenure is below 03 years, Deposits may need to be updated depending on the deposit available under your Mobitel account.

 

7.Is M+ available for prepaid subscribers?

No, M+ is only available for postpaid plans. You can get the same Prepaid number as an M+ Postpaid package. Visit your nearest Mobitel service outlet.

 

8.Where can I obtain M+ packages?

You can visit:

  1. Mobitel branches
  2. SLT Teleshops
  3. Singer Mega outlets
  4. Authorized dealers and channel partners

 

9.How can I check my usage and remaining balances for M+ packages?

Access the SLT Mobitel Self Care App

  1. Register on the MY ACCOUNT self - care portal on www.mobitel.lk
  2. Dial 1456 from your SLT Mobitel phone to listen to your billing details in your preferred language.
  3. Dial #1456# from your SLT Mobitel phone to get an instant bill update to your phone.
  4. Type ‘USAGE’ & send it to 4567.
  5. Give a Missed Call to 0701755777
  6. Through SLT Mobitel Virtual Assistant on WhatsApp 0710755777

 

10.What happens if I do not pay my bill on time?

  1. M+ Subscribers will be updated with 20th bill date by default. And a period of 21 days from the bill date will be provided for settlement of any outstanding.
  2. If not settled, Line will be Out Going Disconnected and will monitor for 14 days for the payment.
  3. If not settled within 14 days, Line will be Temporarily Disconnected and both Incoming & Outgoing facility will be held.
  4. If not settled within 21 days, Line will be disconnected fully.
