What is India Roaming Plan?

This plan will provide Mobitel prepaid customers (New/Existing) to use a special bundled package while roaming in India.

Package charges:

A rental of USD 6 + TAX will be charged

Note:

Rental gets charged the 1st time when the customer starts using the bundle. (Eg: Make an outgoing call to SL)

What is the bundle offered under this package?

Validity period	7 Days
Outgoing voice (M2M)	50 Minutes
Outgoing voice (M2O)	05 Minutes
Incoming voice	10 Minutes
Outgoing voice to India	05 Minutes
SMS (M2M)	10 SMS
Data	200 MB

How do I get charged after I complete using the bundle?

You will be charged for standard/ one rate roaming rates after full utilization of the bundle (will depend on the plan activated for the cx profile).

Eg: If the outgoing bundle – M2M (50 minutes) is fully utilized, then you will be charged for standard rates for outgoing even though the other bundles remain.

Where can I activate this plan?

This package can be activated while in Sri Lanka or while roaming in India.

How can I activate/ deactivate the plan?

This package can be activated and deactivated via USSD or AIMS customer feature modification option.

USSD:

Activation: #999# -> 9. India roaming pack -> 1. Activation

Deactivation: #999# -> 9. India roaming pack -> 2. De-activation

Other package activation requirements:

*** It is advised to activate one rate roaming option along with the activation of this India roaming plan for the customers.

Can I have multiple bundles/ activations of this plan?

Yes. Multiple activation option is available. Bundles will be accumulated accordingly.

Do I have auto renewal option for this plan?

Yes. Auto-renewal of the package is applicable once after the expiry of the validity period (7 days) upon the availability of account balance.

Where can I use this plan?

This package can only be used in India

How do I get charged in a non-plan country?

You will be charged for standard roaming rates in a non-plan country

What are the other plans/ packages I can use with this plan?

Other Notes:

Customer will be automatically latched to preferred network in India. Hence no need to do the manual network selections.
This package can only be used in India

What are the notifications received when the plan is activated/deactivated?

	Notification
Activation (In SL/ While roaming)	India roaming pack has been activated. You will automatically be re- subscribed to another bundle by the expiry of this package after 7 days.
Activation in a non-Plan country	Dear Customer, you are not entitled to this package for the visited destination. Please call the roaming hotline 0714555555 for assistance.
Deactivation	India roaming pack has been successfully de-activated. Kindly note you will be charged for standard roaming rates.
Usage notification	Outgoing: Dear customer, you have only 5 minutes left from your India Roaming outgoing voice bundle (M2M) Outgoing: Dear customer, you have only 5 minutes left from your India Roaming outgoing voice bundle (M2O) Incoming: Dear customer, you have only 5 minutes left from your India Roaming incoming voice bundle SMS: Dear customer, you have only 5 SMS left from your India Roaming SMS bundle GPRS: Dear customer, you have only 10MB left from your India Roaming Data bundle.
