1.What is M+ family Package?

M+ family is a postpaid package offering voice, SMS, and data with a Data Roll-Over feature and bundle sharing feature to meet the needs of a family for a month.

 

2.Who can subscribe to M+ family Package?

Anyone over 18 years old with a valid National Identity Card, Passport, or Driving License can subscribe by completing the required documentation and paying the necessary deposit.

 

3.How many M+ family sub line connections can I activate?

Up to four connections can be activated under one National Identity Card. However, the count will depend on the number of Mobitel connections activated under individuals NIC.

 

4.How do I subscribe to special add-ons available only for M+ family package?

Dial #170# or use the Self-Care App.

 

5.If I subscribe to an add on the plan mentioned above, will the bundle share with sub lines?

No. addons described above will not allowed to share with sub lines.

 

6.Can the sub lines in my M+ family package activates add-ons?

Yes. sublines are allowed to access and subscribe to the special add-ons enabled for M+ family package.

 

7.What is the data usage priority?

App-specific data is used first. If exhausted, Anytime Data will be used.

 

8.Can existing postpaid subscribers upgrade to M+ family?

Yes. Visit your nearest Mobitel service outlet to get the request done.

If you have been in the network for more than 03 years, you can upgrade without updating the deposit, however if your tenure is below 03 years, Deposits may need to be updated depending on the deposit available under your Mobitel account.

 

9.Can existing postpaid subscribers update as a sub line in M+ family?

Yes. In this situation, a subscriber account transfer is required. Visit the nearest Mobitel service outlet for more assistance.

 

10.Is M+ family available for prepaid subscribers?

No, M+ family is only available for postpaid plans. However, you can get the same Prepaid number as a Postpaid M+ family package or add as a sub line in M+ family package. Visit the nearest Mobitel service outlet.

 

11.How can I activate the complementary FREE 1GB Roaming DATA bundle provided?

The complementary free DATA Roaming bundle provided will be enabled by default to your Primary connection of the M+ family package.

When primary numbers latch to a roaming network, a complementary free 1GB roaming bundle will start to utilize when you start using internet.

12.Can I share complementary FREE 1GB Roaming bundle with my sub lines?

This complementary free 1GB roaming bundle cannot share with your sub lines in the M+ family package.

 

13.I am not a frequent roamer, what happens if I do not utilize provided complementary FREE 1GB roaming bundle?

Complementary free 1GB roaming bundles will be allowed to roll over for a period of 12 months. Hence unused complementary free roaming DATA can be used within 12 months.

 

14.What countries are they allowed to use this complementary FREE 1GB roaming bundle?

15.What is complementary FREE eChanelling premium card?

ePremium by eChannelling is a loyalty program offering healthcare-related benefits to its members.

 

16.How Mobitel will provide the complementary FREE eChanelling premium card for my M+ Family package?

The eChanelling premium card will be sent to your given billing address within 10 working days.

 

17.What are the benefits available in complementary FREE eChanelling premium card provided?

It provides a 15% discount on service fees, one eReward point for everyone hundred rupees spent, and exclusive discounts at hospitals, pharmacies (5%-100%), fitness centers, and nutrition services, with additional premium benefits to come.

 

18.Where can I obtain M+ family Package?

You can visit:

19.How can I check my usage and remaining balances for M+ family Package?

  1. Access the SLT Mobitel Self Care App
  2. Register on the MY ACCOUNT self - care portal on www.mobitel.lk
  3. Dial 1456 from your SLT Mobitel phone to listen to your billing details in your preferred language.
  4. Dial #1456# from your SLT Mobitel phone to get an instant bill update to your phone.
  5. Type ‘USAGE’ & send it to 4567.
  6. Give a Missed Call to 0701755777
  7. Through SLT Mobitel Virtual Assistant on WhatsApp 0710755777

 

20.What happens if I do not pay my bill on time?

  1. M+ family subscribers will be updated with 20th bill date by default. And a period of 21 days from the bill date will be provided for settlement of any outstanding.
  2. If not settled, Line (including sub lines if there are any) will be Out Going Disconnected and will monitor for 14 days for the payment.
  3. If not settled within 14 days, Line (including sub lines if there are any) will be Temporarily Disconnected and both Incoming & Outgoing facility will be held.
  4. If not settled within 21 days, Line (including sub lines if there are any) will be disconnected fully.
