What is the “Master Unlimited Calls & Data” Package?

This is the Revolutionary Unlimited Post paid package introduced by Mobitel for a monthly rental of just Rs.3,999/-.

What are the package details of this offer?

Mobitel to Mobitel Voice Calls	UNLIMITED
Mobitel to Other networks Free Voice Bundle	2,000 minutes
Data	UNLIMITED Fair User Policy (FUP) MAY apply at 1.5GB per day, however customers will continue have access to internet at considerable speeds 24 hours of the day at no extra charge. (The speeds after FUP will still be sufficient for general internet browsing including social networking and video without buffering.)
Voice call charges	Rs. 1.50 /-
SMS/MMS charges	20 cents
Connection fee	Rs.1,000

What is FUP (Fair User Policy) applied to DATA?

Fair Use Policy (FUP) is a common practice among all operators globally when providing unlimited services to make sure all customers get the best experience continuously with the chosen price plan.

To ensure all customers are able to experience internet at high speeds on the network & also to improve user experience, Mobitel Master Unlimited will be offer data at maximum speed available up to 1.5GB daily. After 1.5GB, The speed may get reduced depending on a number of conditions such as location, data traffic, numbers of customers etc. This is done to ensure all customers are able to experience the network speeds at consistent levels. However, customer is eligible to use unlimited data without excess charging.

At what time will the data speed get reset to normal speed?

Speed will get reset at 12 midnight every day

Can I get the normal data speed after FUP is applied?

You can activate Post paid Duration based packages to experience normal data speed.

Can DATA be shared through tethering/Hotspot?

DATA sharing through tethering/ Hotspot is allowed, subject to a Fair User Policy

Can I activate add-on plans to this?

You can only activate Postpaid Duration based data add-on packages as mentioned above to experience normal data speed after daily FUP is applied & to share data through tethering.

Will the Voice or Data bundle be carried on for the following month?

No, Voice or Data bundle will not be carried on.

Is there any fee to obtain this package?

A refundable deposit of Rs.1,000/- and, Rs.1,000/- (inclusive tax) will be charged as a connection fee.

How will I get charged if I buy the package in middle of the month?

Monthly Rental & Free voice bundle will be prorated.

You will get free data daily with the Fair User Policy.

What are the documents I should to provide to obtain a new connection?

Duly completed postpaid subscriber form
NIC - Standard NIC level credit policy will be applicable
Valid Billing proof

Who is eligible to obtain this offer?

Any Individual Customer can obtain this offer as a new connection and existing postpaid customer can change his/her individual connection to this package

Special Terms and Conditions of use of Mobitel Unlimited Calls & Data Package (hereinafter referred to as the Package)

This package shall be offered exclusively for the personal use of Mobitel customers.

Use of this Package shall be exclusively limited to the Mobitel customer’s own personal use and customer is strictly prohibited from re sale or act as an intermediary of providing of Mobitel services to any third party for any consideration or free of charge. The Customer shall use the Package as an ordinary fair user of the Package and shall not abuse the Package for undue business gains

The SIM provided to provision the services of this Package shall only be used with a mobile phone and use of the SIM or services from the SIM through another device is specifically strictly prohibited and shall not be used through any other forms of devices such as laptops, routers, dongles or any other similar device

Mobitel reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the package connection at any time without any prior notice to the customer, in the event if it suspected or discovered that a Customer is in breach of any of the terms and conditions applicable to this package.

In the event of any dispute, the determination of Mobitel shall be final and conclusive.

These Terms and Conditions are applicable in addition to the Standard Terms and Conditions applicable to Mobitel services
