Special Instructions for USA Customers
•Please note that USA’s 2G/3G network has been discontinued. Therefore, user will only be able to use the 4G network.
•For uninterrupted Roaming connectivity, please make sure to :
-Carry a 4G compatible device & SLT-MOBITEL 4G SIM.
-Make sure to insert SLT-MOBITEL SIM card in to the SIM slot no.1
-Manually switch the network via your device setting.
Android: Apps - Settings - Connections - Mobile Networks - Preferred Network mode (type) -LTE/3G/2G
Apple: Settings - Mobile data - Mobile Data options - Voice & Data – 4G
-Deactivate the data barring service in order to use the 4G network.
-Update your iOS to version 15.5 or higher & activate APN settings on your device in order to use the SLT-MOBITEL Roaming Services.
-You may use the below steps to manually configure APN setting.
Android: Apps - Settings - Connections - Mobile - Networks - Access Point Name - Add New - Connection Name - Mobitel - Type APN as mobitel
Apple: Settings - Mobile Data - Mobile Data Network - APN – Mobitel
-Manually switch your mobile network to T-Mobile network.
Android: Settings - Connections - Mobile Networks - Network operators - Search networks Manually (or Turn off Automatic)- Select T-Mobile
Apple: Settings - Mobile data - Network Selection - Turn off Automatic - select T-Mobile
