1.What is the 10$ UAE migrant roaming plan?

This prepaid package is provided for the Sri Lankan migrants travelling to and residing in UAE for employment purposes.

Note:

Rental get charged at the 1st time the customer start using the bundle.
Customer should have minimum balance with the above rental tallying with the USD exchange rate to get the free bundles pertaining to the package.

3.Where can I activate this plan?

New Mobitel customers – Package can be activated from any SLT-Mobitel branches including BIA

Existing Mobitel customers – Package can be activated while in Sri Lanka or UAE

Important:

To activate the package, the customer should be duly registered with the SLBFE for overseas employment and possess a valid registration seal stamped on the passport.

4.Is there a USSD method available for activating this package?

Since the UAE migrant roaming package is limited for migrant workers, there is no USSD method to activate.

5.How can I de-activate this package?

You can deactivate this package by visiting any Mobitel branch located island wide.

6.Can I have multiple subscription facility for this package?

No, multiple subscription is not allowed. Only one UAE migrant roaming package is allowed within the validity period.

7.How do I get charged after I complete using the bundle?

You will be charged for standard roaming rates after full utilization of the bundle.

Eg: If the outgoing bundle (300 minutes) is fully utilized, then you will be charged for standard /one rate roaming charges for outgoing voice calls even though the other bundles remain.

8.How do I get charged in a non-plan country?

You will be charged for standard/ one rate roaming rates in a non-plan country.

9.Do I have auto renewal option for this plan?

Yes. Auto-renewal of the package is applicable once after the expiry of the validity period (After 30 days) upon the availability of sufficient balance for the customer.
