In recognition of showcasing the Best Branding and Marketing Activities along with the Best Customer engagement campaigns, SLT-MOBITEL the National ICT Solutions Provider has been honoured with a prestigious Gold and Two Bronze Awards at the 11th ACEF Global Customer Engagement Awards held in Mumbai, India recently.
 
Bringing pride to the nation, SLT-MOBITEL won Gold in the Television category and the Two Bonze awards in the Digital Marketing category.
 
The ACEF Content Marketing and Creators Awards, is organized by the Global Customer Engagement Forum, the illustrious leading platform for learning and connecting global brands.
 
Both in total solutions and brand communications, SLT-MOBITEL continuously strives to deliver exceptional results, creativity, and innovation driving change within the industry. In winning accolades for Best Use of Creativity and Best Use of Celebrity Endorsement, SLT-MOBITEL has been able to maximize the usage of technology replicating the emotions that physical interactions provide, making it an engaging award-winning and a memorable campaign.
 
Celebrated sports star and all-round personality, Mahela Jayawardene was selected as a distinguished celebrity to reconnect and inspire millions of Sri Lankans living locally and abroad, demonstrating the importance of seamless connectivity in today’s hyper-connected world with busy lifestyles, supporting people transform and enrich their lives at different stages.
 
Additionally, the thematic campaign bolstered SLT-MOBITEL’s brand equity of how the brand offers 360-degree messaging amplifying how seamless ‘connection’ between a person, technology and data can empower individuals to get closer to their dreams.
 
The two Bronze Awards were presented for subcategories, the Successful Use of CSR activity, titled thematic campaigned ‘Social Data Plans - Digital Campaign’ and for Effective use of Market Research themed ‘SLT-Mobitel Well Connected’.
 
The ACEF program was founded in 2012-13 and is organized by a team of professionals from India, Sri Lanka, and UAE, guided by Advisory Members representing Branding, Marketing and Creative Agencies based in India, US, Australia, Singapore, UAE, and Sri Lanka.
